Sorry, I don't have any pictures this time. The battery on my camera was dead so I'm recharging. Yesterday, when Travis got home from work, Charles came running up to him. He was all excited and said, 'Dad!! The baby is still here.!' We've been so happy with how they've adjusted to having a baby brother. Henry did very well when Charles came home, and has done fabulous with Andrew as well. We were a little worried about Charles, but he's been kissing and hugging him for the past few days. Andrew seems to have finally settled in. He's always been good and smiling a lot, but we've been hearing a lot more laughing over the past couple days. I think he's figured out who we are. When he's around strangers he looks for us, and if he fusses he quiets when we hold him. It's been only a week and a half since we've been home, but it already seems as if he's been here forever. Aside from taking longer to get anywhere, we're all doing well. I did manage a solo trip to Target yesterday with the 3 of them. Thank goodness it was a quick trip...it only took 1 1/2 hours from leaving the house to returning. The boys did as well as can be expected. Even when it was just Henry and Charles I was forever telling them to ...'sit down, watch out for people, don't run into the man with a walker.' I can't believe we've not knocked down an elderly person and sent them to the hospital. Andrew hung out in the front pack and was happy the whole time. Of course, watching his brothers is like watching a comedy act. They insisted on the limo cart. You know, the one that's a regular cart with two extra seats on the back. It's horrendous to try to steer down the aisles and around the racks. They kept sliding off the back because it's impossible for them to sit still longer than 5 seconds and they didn't want to walk. Thank goodness for the cookies at the bakery.
****I'm sending a prayer request out to all of you. Please pray for baby James and his family. James and Charles have the same foster mother, and they are friends of ours. If you look in my links section you will see a link to his site. Please read it. Baby James has cancer. They are going to have a busy and stressful week with medical tests and surgery. THANKS!!!!****
